One half of London based duo APP, August Jakobsen and guests form Violent Romance. August was born in 1977 and raised in the northsealand. At an early age he discovered electronic music. Since he already played various instruments it was a natural progression to begin producing music. Some years later, the first demo tape earned him the opportunity to develop his production skills in the six feet under studio in Copenhagen. In 2000, August moved to the more open musical climate of the UK capital London. were he studied at the Trinity college of music for 4 years giving Violent Romance an experimental sound fused with a sexy, purposeful house groove.
