When We Were Wolves are a metalcore band hailing from South Wales, who like blurring the line between heavy and melodic. Back after a 5 year hiatus with several new faces and new music, the band previously toured as support with both The Blackout and Devil Sold His Soul, appeared at 2000 Trees and Hit The Deck as well as playing shows with Bury Tomorrow, Bleed From Within and While She Sleeps. Their first 2 Eps received 4k reviews from Kerrang!

After vocalist Mitch bumped into original guitarist Ben at a show in 2022 they realised they missed being in a band together, and decided to start writing again. The pair then spent 12 months writing brand new music, before recruiting new guitarist Jay and drummer Kristian. The first single Mitch and Ben wrote together, lyrically influenced heavily by Mitch’s personal experience during a bad mental health period, is the highly emotive, self-produced first single - ‘Hate Yourself’, out on March 15th.
