Four 20/21 year olds from Manchester, White Eskimo make melodic punk-pop as indebted to The Jam’s early days and as it is Green Day, with guitars that betray their shared love of Foo Fighters. They met on a music college course and in a recording studio where their now bassist engineered what was due to be their debut EP before they scrapped it and set their sights higher. After two years with their current line-up and enough gigs under their belts to be able to bounce about on small stages, the band are at last ready to release that debut EP.
