Since a young age wilson has had a passion for music. His father was and still is a northern soul fanatic and his mother listened to motown, disco and soul. Wilson's involvement with the music scene started in 1995 running a local infamous music fanzine called 'Jackyard Backoff' with his late friend chris stephenson. He then became involved with bradfords own 'Spice' playing acid jazz, hip hop, funk, soul and triphop! playing along side dj's such as 'golden child', 'chris goss' (tounge and groove records), 'james lavelle' (mo wax), and Attica Blues to name but a few. As wilson's musical tastes matured he found he had a passion for all things HOUSE. Having held down residencies at 'Our House' @Love Apple (bradford / midlands), 'Heaven Sent' @Eden (huddersfield) and regular guest slots he now plays at 'WTF' @Baracoa bar (Leeds) 4th saturday of every month, does the warm upset for the 'back2funky' crew @Space (Leeds) 3rd saturday of every month and is a member of the 'Uno House' collective. Expect to hear all things Soulful, Funky and Deep whilst listening to Wilson Frisk..;0)
