Winter Son comes from cold Manchester nights, immersing yourself in a darkened room of bodies moving as one to the sound of the bass and synth line.
Live performances use a TR-808 drum machine with percussion pads, and blend the visceral energy of Depeche Mode and The Cure with the brooding atmospherics of classic Detroit techno.
Often appearing alongside Sankeys resident Jozef K, Winter Son also forms half of electronica duo Ghosting Season.
