WKLOS (West Kirby Light Opera Society) is one of the leading amateur musical theatre companies in the North West region. In recent years it has become known for its multi NODA-award-winning productions of modern musicals, including Chess, Evita, Titanic The Musical, Company and Once Upon A Time At The Adelphi.

In between shows WKLOS has regularly staged a variety of concert performances in large and small venues across the region. Its repertoire has included anything from classic Cole Porter songs to Rodgers and Hammerstein and Stephen Sondheim or from Handel's Hallelujah Chorus to Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. It has acquired a reputation for the strength and quality of its choral sound.
