DJ, Producer and Promoter, Xen’s life has always revolved around music, but he found his passion for DJing at the age of 15, mixing for his friends from an app on his phone. Fast forward a few years down the line and he has already played at some of the biggest clubs in the country. Egg and Fabric in London. Antwerp Mansion, Hidden and South in Manchester, Stealth in Nottingham and Hifi and Wire in Leeds.
As well as playing at some of the biggest venues in the UK, Xen has also supported some of the biggest names such as Skream, SOPHIE, Royal T, Secondcity and many more. Xen currently holds multiple residencies. SHAPES, one of Nottinghams biggest student nights and at multiple bars on Greek street in Leeds.
Xen is known for his master track selection and slick mixing. Being able to build the atmosphere and tension to keep the crowd lost in a trance and playing the songs that get people going and dancing regardless of genre, tempo or release date.
When he isn’t performing at clubs, festivals or finding new music, he is hard at work in the studio curating his feel good, groovy sound. Djing has always been first and foremost for Xen but since joining Leeds college of music 2 years ago he has really found a passion for producing and hopes to release his debut EP by the end of the year.
As well as djing and producing, Xen also runs 2 events companies. Panda Riot, a funk/soul/disco night that runs monthly nights all across the UK and Tempo, a Tech night that has booked huge names like Elliot Adamson and Mele.
