Yong Yong are a Portuguese artistic unit who dabble in proto-transcendentalism, sonic subterfuges and subterranean technological shades as a means of producing vaguely mystical music entities; the duo’s relationship to space, as a reflection on the part they themselves plays as musicians is always new, always different with every performance. This is smoky, slow-motion-towards-eternity sleeping room music, by these two very young and seldom-seen idealists. Do not feel surprised to be surprised.
