Nigerian born, Manchester based, Alternative Soul & Pop artist ZAHYÓN is a singer/songwriter & musician whose approach to music has already positioned him as ‘one to watch’ amongst music industry players.

ZAHYÓN’s musical journey started back in 2008 as a drummer in his church choir, later learning to play the piano by ear and honing his songwriting ability by combining his love for poetry & melody. The early part of his music career saw him music & vocal directing for other artists and choirs before releasing his debut single in 2017.

His debut single ‘Amen’ was featured on BBC Introducing and his further single releases like ‘Captured My heart’ and ’Calvary’ showcase his versatility as an artist and have already garnered him National radio play on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 4.

ZAHYÓN’s talents have recently gained him a spot on The Voice UK on ITV, coached by none other than the legend himself Sir Tom Jones.

“Reaching the Knockouts stage of the competition was a major achievement for me. But even more, getting first hand coaching from Sir Tom is something I’ll always cherish. He taught me to believe in myself even more and for that I’m a new man.”
