Playford Musicians Workshop

There are so many terrific tunes contained in the ‘Playford Dancing Master’ that we had difficulty picking the ones for this workshop. The books of dances and tunes were published from 1651 to 1728, but we aim to play them as though they were written yesterday. There will be printed music, (for non-transposing instruments) with 2 or 3 parts. We have run many workshops at festivals, including Chippenham & Sidmouth, so are used to helping the less confident produce good results.
