King Nun, Flat Party Live

Box Monster invites you to a wonderful performance from King Nun, Flat party and Tie break!

Indie-punk hybrid band King Nun (created by school friends Theo Polyzoides, James Upton, Nathan Gane and Caius SY in 2013) are a touring band and 'a sound to be reckoned with' as cited by popular music magazine NME. When the pandemic hit, cancelling tours, King Nun saw this as an opportunity to hop into the studio and make a new record titled 'lamb' which followed up with an incredible and deserving signing to Marshall Records. With their euphonious sound, stubborn optimism and return to their heavy roots King Nun is a fantastic band and well worth seeing live.

“We just wanted to do something a little different,” says Jack Lawther, vocalist for the band Flat Party. Flat Party are an indie rock band that started in 2019 however couldn't make their official live debut due to COVID-19 rolling in. Over the years, Flat Party have expanded into a close-knit six-piece band consisting of Jack Lawther, Rory O'Rourke, Nic Morris, Dylan Tarayan-Bibbs, Zander Hearn and Tom Hunt. All of them together an unstoppable force of musical talent.

Supporting this show we have local indie icons Tie Break! Tie Break are a new and up-and-coming indie band that are certainly worth the title of 'icon' with their beautifully original sound they are bringing back everything that indie stands for all while making it their own. A truly amazing band to see live.
