Wobble For Ward at the Walrus

This is a fundraising event for our good friend and huge part of the Wobbly Records crew, Jon Ward, aka Fat Mandy.

For the past 10 months Jon has been fighting Pancreatic Cancer, unfortunately the cancer has spread to his liver and his chemotherapy treatment had been suspended.

Jon has a life line tho, private oncology clinics overseas are offering Jon precision-based immunotherapy using extensive genetic testing to treat his cancer. These approaches are not feasible options under the confines of the NHS.

This targeted approach to Pancreatic Cancer treatment, using the body's own immune system is absolutely crucial for Jonathan's survival. This treatment is incredibly expensive, so far over £50,000 has been raised but we have a long way to go.

A number of different fundraising events are being set up so please get involved where and when you can.

This is our way of giving what we can back to Jon, a dear friend, a huge part of our crew and a total legend. Jon does most of our artwork, DJ's at all of our events and has recently released his debut album on vinyl through Wobbly Records.

We will be selling Fat Mandy's album on the night, all proceeds will be going towards Jons treatment. If you can't make the 21st June you can always pick it up from our Bandcamp page, link below.
