Sonke, one of London's prominent African Electronic Music Parties, is marking their first anniversary at Brixton Jamm on Saturday, May 25 (Bank Holiday Weekend). Curated by Mixolis, DJ Zenze & JFKVZH, Sonke is renowned for its vibrant energy, dancing, sing-alongs, and exclusive tunes, maintaining authenticity and captivating its underground audience. 

The anniversary lineup honors individuals who have contributed to the growth of African Electronic Music in the UK, spanning from Amapiano to House music, along with returning guest DJs and artists. As always, Sonke will introduce new DJs and showcase some debut performances.

The event will be held in two rooms, with the bar area hosting Afrohouse, Afrotech, House, and 3-Step music, while the main room will focus exclusively on Amapiano. Following previous sold-out shows and appearances by artists like Soa Mattrix & Jay Music from South Africa, this promises to be another meticulously curated event.
