SID GAULD - TRUMPET

Sid has recorded on over 300 Album Projects in almost every genre of music as well as playing live for a very wide range of artists all over the world. He has worked with such artists as Blur, Stranglers, Cure, George Michael, Sting, Midnight Oil, Curiosity Killed the Cat, Sinead O’Connor, Stereophonics, Bloc Party, Tom Jones, Incognito, Brand New Heavies, Corduroy, Central Line, Beggar and Co, Light of the World, Snowboy and the Latin Section, Shakatak, Ray Charles, Buddy Guy, Peter Green Splinter Group, Lee Sankey, Mica Paris, Pasadenas, Mystique, Loose Tubes, Django Bates’ Delightful Precipice, Stan Tracey, Johnny Dankworth, Mark Lockheart’s Scratch Band, Issie Barrat Group, Colin Towns, Laurence Cottle Big Band, The West End Big Band, Patato Valdez, Roberto Pla, Robin Jones, Chucho Valdez, Alfredo Rodriguez, Maracas, Poleo, Hose Mangual Jnr, Henry Fiol, Herman Olivera, Azuquita. Sid has taught on many residential courses, including Wavendon and Dartington summer schools. He has also taught at various workshops at both Middlesex University - on the Jazz course, as well as Trinity College of Music. He runs the Big-Band and Latin Band workshops at London Centre for Contemporary Music and is on their board of Studies and teaches Horn Section and Trumpet.

Brian Greene - Drums

Brian started his professional musical career in 1992 and he is a performer, composer and educator.

Brian has played on TV, live in the UK, Europe and London's West End, backing many well know artists such as: George Benson, The Drifters, The Platters, Cliff Richard, Gerard Kenny, Marti Caine, Bradley Walsh to name a few.  Brian's TV credits include the BBC'S Generation Game and Record Breakers and SKY TV's Who Do You Do?

As a freelance player, versatility is a key and Brian is highly experienced in moving between different types of musical styles. Recently Brian has been playing with great British Jazz Artists such as Alan Barnes, Art Themen, Fleur Stevenson and Tina May.

Composition has always been of interest to Brian and he has written library music for EMI Music House. Brian also wrote songs for a solo band project Mind In Colour (http://briangreene2.wix.com/mindincolour)

As an educationalist, Brian is a former University Lecturer at University of West London, teaching on the degree in popular music performance and was a course deliverer and writer. He moved on to be the founder of Gigajam and won the British Education Teaching with Technology Award in 2005 for the Essential Skills Cour ses for guitar, bass, keyboards and drums.
