Cambridge ravers!

Found Sounds returns to Cambridge, to create once again a space for self expression, dancing, and quality techno music.

Our guest DJ for the night is the outstanding member of the Hungarian underground techno scene, Katamii. After she raised the roof in 2648 in January, we couldn’t resist inviting her back to Cambridge, so that she could show us more of the energetic, dark, and hypnotic techno she is renowned for. And to make the night even more special, she will play b2b all night long with our founder and resident DJ, Petah.

KATAMII [O.Z.O.R.A. / AETHER]

If you've ever been to O.Z.O.R.A. Festival in Hungary, you've probably heard Katamii playing at the Pumpui stage there. Her sets are not only an elemental part of the stage, but she is also one of the stage's main managers and musical leaders. As a prominent member of the Hungarian techno scene, she has also been playing at club nights and festivals around Hungary and Europe, including multiple performances at Noisily Festival in the UK.

Since 2019, she has been a resident DJ of TAEC, the regular techno night in AETHER, one of Budapest’s leading underground dance music clubs. During the last few years, she shared the stage with artists such as Efdemin, Altinbas, Yonti, The Lady Machine, KUSS, Sam Paganini, Tapefeed, Matrixxman, Marcal, Kr!z, Oliver Lieb, Moteka, Unbalance, Rene Wise, Arkan, Norman Nodge, Ignez, Olivia Mendez, and many many more.

Her style is best described as impulsive, striking a balance between the energetic and hypnotic sides of techno music, and you can always catch her trademark deep dirty pulsating rhythm throughout her sets.

Make no mistake, she's a real wolf in sheep's clothing, and we can't wait to have her back on Found Sounds!
