Headlining the night will be Remarc, a pioneering Jungle DJ and producer from London, emerged in the early 1990s as a seminal figure in the Jungle and Drum & Bass scenes. Known for his intricate breakbeats, heavy basslines, and innovative use of sampling, Remarc’s work on labels like Suburban Base and White House Records set new standards for the genre. His tracks, including classics like “Ricky” and “Sound Murderer,” remain influential, showcasing his unmatched skill in beat manipulation and sound engineering. al
Our special guest Papa Gee is a renowned figure in the Jungle and Drum & Bass scene. With a career spanning several decades, he is celebrated for his dynamic DJ sets and contributions to pirate radio, where he helped popularize the genre. He has many releases on labels such as Jungle Mania, Jungle Cakes, Biological Beats, Hazardous Musik & Amen Warfare.
Boasting a whole heap of local talent playing both vinyl and digital on the night, this isn’t one to be missed 🔥
