The Gentle Spring, Sassyhiya and Pink Opaque Live in Sheffield

Bringing you another Sheffield Indiepop extravaganza! Featuring two Skep Wax record label bands supported by Sheffield's very own synthpop sparklers Pink Opaque.

The show is at Sheffield's legendary live venue the Hallamshire Hotel (182 West Street. S1 4ET). This historic part of Sheffield's music scene recently re-opened following a complete refurb with a new upstairs live room (new stage, new soundsystem, an additional upstairs bar and an additional upstairs WC) plus extensive outdoor seating.

The Gentle Spring are Michael Hiscock (previous bands include Sarah records' Field Mice and Shinkansen records' Trembling Blue Stars), Émilie Guillaumot and Jeremie Orsel. Following their 2023 single 'Dodge the rain' (on France's Too Good To Be True Records) and recent appearance on the Skep Wax label compilation 2LP 'Under The Bridge 2', they are coming to the UK to bring you their debut album 'Looking back at the world'! The album comes out in mid-January 2025 on Skep Wax. Expect delicate beauty, poignance and raw emotion. You will feel all the feels.

Sassyhiya are a Skep Wax label new signing. Following their sold out 7" single 'Kristen Stewart' they are touring the UK to bring you their debut album 'Take You Somewhere' available in the UK via Skep Wax! Expect sassy punk for the modern age. Wit and attitude to spare.

Pink Opaque are Sheffield's newest synth-pop indiepoppers on stage for their first live show! Expect retro-futurist glittery electronic pop.
