During the November international break, Graham Smith (Smiggy) of the Scarborough Whites will be hosting a very special event with former Leeds United title winning defender Jon Newsome.
A key figure in Leeds’ 1992 First Division title-winning run in, scoring in the title clinching match against Sheffield United, Jon will share behind-the-scenes stories from his playing days, offering unique insights into his time at Elland Road and his career.
There will also be an appearance on the night by ex Leeds United Physio Alan Sutton.
Taking place at Meadowbeck Holiday Cottages' onsite Leeds United themed bar 'The Scratching Shed', the event will be compered by comedian Pete Emmett- who has hosted past events in Scarborough with Brian Deane & Ian Harte.
The venue is located opposite the The Flask on the A171 Scarborough/Whitby Road. Parking is available on site and the bus stop for the X93 bus is located yards from the venue.
