B. Dolan is an American rapper, spoken word artist, activist, and screenwriter based in Providence, Rhode Island.

Independent from the jump and fueled at times by willpower and community alone, B. Dolan has expanded his creative influence beyond music into film, poetry, and songwriting over the past fifteen years. Known on stages around the world for his impassioned delivery, dynamic live performances, and dedication to challenging the norm, Dolan engages deeply in his craft while actively fostering a community among his fans and friends. With a crate's worth of LPs, mixtapes, and live projects already in his catalogue, the road-tested hip hop poet continues to navigate life, aging, liberation, trauma, and post-lockdown culture with vulnerability and curiosity on his latest LP “The Wound is Not The Body”.

As a musician, he is the composer of three LPs (on Speech Development Records in Europe), three mixtapes and a live LP (all released independently). He's maintained a rigorous international touring schedule since 2005 alongside friends and collaborators like Sage Francis, Atmosphere, and Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip. Pre-pandemic he released 2 critically-acclaimed LPs with Sage Francis under the group moniker Epic Beard Men.

B. Dolan’s first time at The Ferret (2016) was a roadblock sell-out show, and last year's visit was just as epic. He’s back this November for another major one with us right here on our legendary stage.
