Enjoy a fabulous weekend of inspiring music, tasty food & endless fun on the picturesque Isle of Bute. Butefest is a family-friendly festival with great music, yummy food, superb drink and best of all, a truly magical setting, all on a beautiful island only 33 miles (as the crow flies) from Glasgow! Come along and be part of Scotland’s most accessible island Music Festival
In addition to the main stage providing the music of the top bands of the day, both from Scotland and further afield, we will have a great variety of foods for you to try. To celebrate Scotland’s best food and drink, we have some of the best local producers alongside some new exotic flavours to titivate your taste buds. Our bars will be stocked with some of Scotland’s best craft beers and ciders picked from the top Microbreweries around and if Lager is your tipple we have loads of that, all priced at what you would expect to pay in your local pub!
With ButeFest being a family friendly festival, it's only right for there to be some top-notch entertainment available for the younger members of the audience too.
There will be loads of interactive entertainment throughout the site, including mobile rickshaw/cart storytelling, puppetry and even a bedtime storytelling session and parade...with even more to be announced in the lead-up to the festival.
It’s not just about the music, so keep an eye out for a host of other pop up activities and curious, even eccentric, walkabout entertainers displaying their talents around the site for your amusement and entertainment. These probably won’t be advertised in advance. After all, it is nice to have a few surprises.
