Detonate Festival is located in Colwick Country Park, Nottingham which is around a 10-15 minute drive from Nottingham city centre in a taxi. It takes about 20 minutes from the city centre on the number 44/44a bus. The entrance is on Racecourse Road and accessed on foot from the drop off point at the park & ride site next to Nottingham Racecourse, NG2 4BE.

No, Detonate Festival is a non camping festival so camping equipment is not needed. It is however close to the City Centre so there is plenty of alternative accommodation to choose from.

Yes you must be 18 or over to attend Detonate Festival. You may be asked to show photo ID.

You are not allowed to bring your own food and drink into Detonate Festival. There will be a wide variety of food and drink stalls inside the festival including vegetarian and vegan options.

Tickets are not yet on sale but you can be the first to know when tickets do go on sale by signing up to a reminder above.  

Unfortunately we can’t issue you with a refund if you can’t make the event due to work commitments or your mates have dropped out. In these circumstances, we advise passing on your tickets privately to avoid losing out on the money spent. Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed, as agreed upon purchase.

By car

If you are coming from the north – follow the A60 or A612
If you are coming from the south – follow the A60 and A453
If you are coming from the east or west – follow the A52

Once you reach Nottingham, follow the brown signs or yellow park & ride signs to the Racecourse.

By bus

The nearest bus routes from the city centre is the number 44, which departs from King Street, or the Link 2 (yellow Park & Ride) which stops on Parliament Street and Collins Street.

By rail

Nottingham Midland Station is very close to the city centre, and so only around two miles from the Racecourse. There is a taxi rank at the station and it will take you approximately 10-15 minutes to reach the Racecourse. For details of train times please click www.nationalrail.co.uk

There is no parking available at Detonate Festival with the exception of an allocation for Blue Badge holders which must be pre-booked. To request this please contact info@detonate1.co.uk as soon as possible.
