Epping Forest Music Festival

Unfortunately we can’t issue you with a refund if you can’t make the event due to work commitments or your mates have dropped out. In these circumstances, we advise passing on your tickets privately to avoid losing out on the money spent. Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed, as agreed upon purchase.

A premium ticket allows you into the front circle by the stage and use of the Premium Toilet facilities.

Please note that there will be no childrens tickets for the premium area. 

A VIP ticket allows you into the front circle by the stage, access back stage, free food and drink, and use of the VIP Toilet facilities.

Yes, our scanners can scan your tickets from your phone.

We are keen to ask customers to use public transport and make use of transport links provided in order not to create unnecessary problems or traffic queues.

By Rail

There are ample train facilities for this event for customers to arrive using Chingford Station. After the event the trains operate for until 11.30pm.

Chingford Station is positioned within 2 minutes walk of the festival site. Stewards will be at Chingford Station to direct customers.

By Tube

We are providing a regular “Shuttle Bus” service from Loughton Station. These buses will leave Loughton Station approximately every 15 minutes from Loughton Station to the event Site at Chingford Plain and every 10 minutes at peak time returns. A timetable is posted on this website. Stewards will be at Loughton Station to direct customers to the shuttle buses. Return shuttle bus tickets are FREE when booked in advance, but they will be £3 if purchased on the day.

By Cycle

We will provide spaces to lock your cycle. This is a great way to arrive at the festival.

By Bus

Chingford Bus Garage is 2 minutes walk from the festival site. There are numerous bus links from Chingford across London and parts of Essex. Stewards will be positioned to direct customers to the festival site.

By Car

Please note! There is no parking at the event site or within neighbouring streets. If you want to drive to the festival please drive to Loughton Station or Debden, Epping, Buckhurst Hill or Woodford Stations. All of these stations have large car parks and we are operating a Shuttle Bus services to and from the festival site. By avoiding driving close to the festival site this will allow easier access for our shuttle buses to keep to the timetable. Return shuttle bus tickets are FREE when booked in advance, but they will be £3 if purchased on the day.

Please do not drive to the festival site, your cooperation is appreciated. Stewards will be at all Stations to direct customers to the shuttle buses.

By Taxi

The festival site has a designated drop off and pick up point for taxis and minicabs/UBER. We strongly advise you to book your return journey. Sadlers Taxis and other taxi companies will be providing extra services for those who have not pre booked return journeys. www.sadlerstaxis.co.uk

Shuttle Bus for local residents

Residents of Loughton, Buckhurst Hill, Debden, Epping and Woodford, please use our shuttle bus service to arrive and depart the festival. Return shuttle bus tickets are FREE when booked in advance, but they will be £3 if purchased on the day.

By Coach

There will be coach travel from various towns around Essex and Hertfordshire.

Parking

Golden Triangle Enterprises Ltd and Fabulous Festivals Ltd reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone parking their car in an unsuitable place against the spirit of the event.

There is no parking at the venue. Please drive to Loughton, Debden, Epping, Buckhurst Hill or Woodford Station and use the station car parks, where we will be operating a shuttle service to the venue. Please do not drive to the venue, this will only create more traffic and slow down the shuttle service.

Cars can be left overnight at the car parks but there is a charge.

We will provide disabled attendees who are in receipt of middle or higher rate Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Personal Independence Payment (PIP), who purchase their own ticket, with 1 free ticket for a personal assistant to accompany them at the festival.  We do ask you provide evidence of DLA or PIP and fill in the personal assistant ticket form and email: info@fabfest.co.uk

The Fabulous Festival is held on a green field site, basically a field. There is flat access around the festival site, however, it should still be noted that some areas of the grounds at the event are uneven and special care should be taken whilst moving around the site. The ground can be hard but of course can be muddy dependent on weather conditions. There is also a short distance from the entrance to the festival arena.  We would recommend arriving early at the event to find a spot suitable for your needs.  It is the responsibility of each person and/or their carer to ensure this event is suitable to attend. There is a limited supply of blue badge parking at the site which must be pre booked by emailing info@fabfest.co.uk. There will be no facilities to book blue badge parking on the day of the event.

Epping Forest Music Festival takes place on Saturday 10th - Sunday 11th September 2022.

Epping Forest Music Festival is located at Chingford Plans in Epping Forest.

Gates open at midday. Food, drinks and concessions are also available from midday. The show starts at 1pm and the event finishes at 10pm. Please be aware the opening times are approximate and can vary by up to 30 mins, this is due to the final health and safety sign off.

Yes, there will be a cloakroom or locker facility on-site.

As an independent festival, bar sales keep the event alive. Tokens will be sold online for £3.50 prior to the event and £4 on the day of the event. Most alcoholic drinks will cost 2 tokens.

Yes, we have the facilities to accept cash or payment by debit or credit card inside the festival arena to buy tokens. The closest cash machine is near Chingford Station.

The independent food and stall vendors will only take token payment.

There will be a no glass policy at the festival

Cans of beer, cider, pre mixed spirits will cost 2 tokens.

Soft drinks will cost 1 token.

More information will follow soon regarding wines, spirits, jugs of Pimms, Cocktails, Champagne.

For multiple purchases you will be given a plastic box with ice to cool your drinks. Please use these boxes to store your empty containers and return them to the recycle stations positioned close to the bars and food areas.

?Please note Drink Tokens are non refundable so please buy conservatively – there will be plenty available for you to purchase on all days of the festival online at Fabfest.co.uk or from the token office.?

There are no camping facilities at our festival. However, there are local sites.
