Straddling the county boundary between Surrey and Kent, along the ridge of the south downs, Field Life is a brand new festival for summer 2022. Taking place near the picturesque village of Lingfield, a mere 10 minutes from Gatwick, this exciting new edition to the festival programme promises to enthral and captivate in equal measure.
Five stages of music will accommodate 5,000 attendees at Cross Country Estate, crisscrossing the spectrum of dance music from the mainstream to the underground.
Our impressive main stage will feature the commercial hits and sing-along anthems you know and love, by the biggest DJs on the festival circuit. By contrast, the big top will cater to those with more underground sensibilities. Here you can catch the best in techno and minimal grooves from the most respected crate diggers in the scene. For those looking to find the middle ground, the fort stage hosts the contemporary beat of tech house and future-leaning artists. Or ramble down to the forest to feel the reverberation of bass in your chest from the industry’s finest D&B architects.
Field Life also honours the roots of modern dance music, with the vintage sound of funk, soul and disco permeating the airwaves at the food truck disco. Music comes courtesy of seasoned selectors Food Truck Disco, while food options are supplied by decorated vendors W&W catering - proud recipients of a royal warrant.
With Ibiza superclub Eden on board as co-curators, festivalgoers can expect a line-up packed with talent and reflective of the club’s renowned musical direction.
Our Phase 1 line-up does exactly that! Record label owner and all-round cool character Lee Foss has finished-up in Miami and will be heading cross-Atlantic as our first headliner. Mixing things up, our second headline act is Beckenham MC crew The Manor, who’ll be taking their inimitable blend of grime and UK hip-hop from the inner city on a beano to the rural countryside.
Joining them in Phase 1 is ABODE original, the jetsetting GW Harrison, Yorkshireman-in-Ibiza Doorly and London representatives The Menedez Brothers. Two of the industry’s hottest Tech prospects, Iglesias and Late Replies are also involved, while rapper Tyrone and his posse FooR are on course for a head-on collision. Further support comes from multi-talented Josh Parkinson and progressive duo Product Of Us, who recently set tongues wagging with a pulsating appearance at Ministry Of Sound.
CodeSouth.FM and Pure Science are on board as Field Life’s first stage hosts.
More names coming in Phase 2!
In addition to the music and refreshments, Field Life comes replete with fairground rides and merchandise stands, to create the quintessential British festival experience in the home counties heartland.
Shuttle buses will run around the clock from both Lingfield and South Godstone train stations, direct to the festival site. Alternatively, those arriving at Three Bridges can hail an Uber ride from as little as £8 each way. Travel time from Gatwick airport is under 10 minutes.
In an interesting twist, you can be a part of Field Life’s debut year for… free.
Anybody buying advance drink packages will receive complimentary admission. Five drink vouchers retail for £35 or ten drink vouchers can be purchased for £60.
