Review of North East Chilli Fest 5th birthday & Delaval Hall Leaving Party

disappointed. Attended the event for the first time having heard loads of great stuff about it. Though the market stalls were good. Entertainment seemed to be behind schedule and between entertainment not a lot to do. The number of portaloos was insufficient for the number of attendees. Unfortunately the weather was not great and we ended up leaving early (too cold and windy). 

Review of North East Chilli Festival

Great evening, great bands and food.  However, drinks FAR too expensive.

A lot of the stands were not open, was bare, waste of time.

I first went to the Chilli Festival last year and loved it so much that I came back this year. It is a fantastic event! Lots to do, try, and buy! Parking is a bit of a nightmare but I understand there is little more that can be done!

Will DEFINITELY be coming back next year!

Fab, Fab, Fab,Enjoyed every moment as always. The bands were the best  so far, especially Smoove & Turrell, got the old hips goin haha. Loved the set up of the chilli eating comp (which my fella came joint 1st last year!) So pleased that young Alex had the chance to enter after waiting for sooooo long and then to come in joint 1st was a result!! His cramps later that evening must have been horrendous.  Unsure though if Chilli Fest will work in a huge open field.  Seaton Delaval Hall is a brilliant venue and known throughout the North East (easily recognised).  Still looking forward to next year though, my whole family will be going, kids, dogs, tents n all!!! We just need the weather, which was brilliant by the way on the Sunday.

THis year's Chili Feast lived up to its reputation as usual.  It was a very enjoyable and entertaining day.  I have only one complaint.  The food prices are too expensive and also could I suggest that dogs, apart from guide dogs, are not allowed.  I do not see why people need to bring the to such an event.

We,myself,my husband,son-in-law and our two grandson's had a great time until the rain came down (in buckets!) but it didn't spoil our day,but did unfortunately cut it short. We will still look out for further dates in the future.

Great event. Shame about the weather. We'll be back.next year!
