It is with a heavy heart that we announce Oasis Festival will not go ahead this year. While we recognize that it may seem too early to predict how the world will look in September, after reviewing the information available at this time, it feels irresponsible to proceed as planned in the current climate.
This was a very difficult decision. Over the past few weeks, our team has explored numerous scenarios that might have allowed us to go ahead with this year’s edition. But ultimately, it became clear that moving forward would have meant compromising the quality of the festival, and more importantly, the safety of our community.
We feel that by making this decision now, it will put us in a stronger position when we return next 17-19 September 2021 with the most incredible edition of the festival so far.
In the meantime, those of you who have already purchased tickets for Oasis 2020 will have the option of either transferring your ticket for the Oasis 2021 edition, or requesting a refund. Refund requests will be accepted until Friday, 8 May, 2020; information and instructions can be found HERE.
This is going to be a strange summer for music fans. We’ll yearn for those unforgettable, life-affirming moments on the dance floor, sun on our faces, groove in our feet, friends by our side. Hold those memories tight. We’ll get through this and make no mistake, we’ll dance our asses off on the other side.
Until then, stay safe and take care of each other.
Sending love,
Oasis Fam
