Review of One Park Ten Sound Systems

unfortunatly not enough turned up no children  but brilliant idea hope they do it again


I am on the Preston carnival committee and i helped to organise the event. The feedback i got was that less sound systems and more of a sound clash and maybe a performer on stage. People felt the price was too high and with no discount for carers or disabled people

People also felt the event should have been on the same day as the carnival

I think it was a good first attempt to be honest but the committee will take on board all feed back from people who attended

Pity people don’t recognised great value for money. 

Great day out with real good music that didn’t disappoint. Great venue; Atmosphere would be improved I feel if there were fewer sounds as it was a large area,there were people there but with 10 different sounds people were scattered across the park. Would definitely attended again. 

This could of been a great day if it was organised better. Dj sounds were great but too far away it would of been better if they was on one stage and did time sets. Definitely needed to be advertised a lot more. I spoke to a lot to people that was there who was walking passed and popped it. They didn’t know nothing about it. Every single person in Preston should of known about this event. Very disappointed 

I have written a review but it disappeared so I hope this isn't a repeat! 
I'll be brief - the music was disappointing as it was a cacophony of sound all competing for the airwaves and impossible to fully appreciate one of the sound systems without hearing the others.  It was stressful not relaxing! 
The venue was rubbish because there were so few people there, no atmosphere.  Was it advertised enough?
price - a rip off - people were paying £17 on the day at the park, when your website said tickets only for admission.  Poor value for money
Atmosphere - lacking because so few people
Food - little that could be classed as Caribbean so that was disappointing. 
Wouldn't come again if it was like this next year. 



Gates didn’t open until 1-35pm should have been 12noon.Not much going on other than the music which was amazing 
Not sure where people were hiding it as the security were doing searches but obvious plenty of people were taking drugs as it was clear to see. Food wasn’t up to much either ☹

brilliantly arranged.awesome sound systems.a bit peeved0 ðŸ˜‚it wasn't jammed..alot of people must of put alot of work in to this event...thank you.jah bless.
