Yes you must be 18 or over to attend Pioneer Plays Festival. All attendees must provide physical photo ID upon arrival to gain entry.

Any unauthorised items (including offensive weapons, incendiary devices, fireworks, laser pens and paint-sprays) This is to protect all staff, stewards and members of the public.

Bags will also be searched thoroughly

Pressurised gas canisters and legal highs are strictly prohibited on site. Anyone found with these items will have them confiscated and may be refused entry.

You cannot bring any liquids into the venue, this includes eye drops & nose sprays, perfume, water bottles etc. You are allowed to bring prescribed medication on site when accompanied by a doctor’s note or valid medical certificate. Hand sanitiser and sun cream will be allowed.

The general bar and VIP bar both accept card or cash. There won't be any ATMs on site so please plan ahead if you wish to spend cash only.

You cannot bring any food or drink into Pioneer Plays Festival. The bar and food vendors cover a variety of food and drink to cater for all needs.

No, Pioneer Plays Festival is a one day non camping festival so camping equipment is not needed. It is however close to a large choice of accommodation within 1 mile from the festival site.

The Hertfordshire Showground is a 70-acre site within 300 meters of the M1, Junction 9 and within a 30 minute drive of major towns and cities such as St Albans, Watford and Hemel Hempstead. There is car parking space for 800 cars on site, car park tickets are only available now at pioneerplays.com. Please be aware that there are strict road closures in operation in the surrounding areas which only allow access to local residents.

 

Traffic Management will be in full operation on the day and cars will be towed if obstructing.

Unfortunately we can’t issue you with a refund if you can’t make the event due to work commitments or your mates have dropped out. In these circumstances, we advise passing on your tickets privately to avoid losing out on the money spent. Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed, as agreed upon purchase.

There is a strict no re-entry policy on the day. Doors open from 12pm-10pm and the last entry is strictly at 6pm for all ticket holders.
