Preston Live Festival

Preston Live takes place Friday 25th - Sunday 27th July 2025.

Preston Live is held at The Show Field, Salwick Road, Wharles, Preston, PR4 3SN.

The Preston Live site will be open from 12 noon on Friday 25th July for customers with a Camping or Campervan ticket. PLEASE NOTE Music  Entertainment will not start until 3.00pm.

All Tents & Motorhomes must be pitched by 7pm on Friday, after this point no further camping or Campervan arrivals will be permitted.

For all day tickets and weekend festival entry only, gates open at 2pm Friday.

Saturday and Sunday slightly earlier at 1pm and last entry to the festival is strictly 7pm each day. We recommend you arrive early to avoid the queues.

No, all those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to Preston Live.

The following list is prohibited from Preston Live; Glass items, candles, gas canisters, flares, knives, illegal substances, drugs, ‘legal highs’, laser equipment/pens, megaphones, nitrous oxide, animals, fireworks, smoke canisters, poles, drones and any items which in the absolute discretion of the Promoter are considered to be a risk to the safety of the audience and/or affect the enjoyment of the audience and/or the running of the Festival are prohibited. Everyone will be searched on entry and management reserve the right to confiscate prohibited items.

Only Guide or Assistance Dogs will be allowed on site at Preston Live.

There will be access for Wheelchairs on site at Preston Live as well as accessible toilets.

Yes, they have parking on site for a limited number of cars, these will be available on a first come first served basis so we recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment. All cars must be off site by 11pm.

There will be toilets, showers and drinking water on site at Preston Live.

Preston Live ask that all campers bring a tent size that is appropriate to your group size.

Maximum tent size is 8m x 5m for a Family.

PLEASE NOTE any Tents larger than this will be not be allowed on site.

In the general camping area, cars and motorhome will be parked in a designated area and cannot be parked alongside tents at Preston Live.

For health and safety reasons, Preston Live do not permit campers to leave and re-enter the site with a camping ticket unless for an Emergency. Please contact the well being/medical emergency area or a member of the management team if this is required.

Campers are welcome to bring food & drink to the campsites at Preston Live, there will also be concessions serving coffee and breakfasts each morning and throughout the day. A wide selection of food and drink will be available for purchase in the Main Arena, where festival-goers will not be permitted to bring their own items for consumption with the exception of baby food.

EITHER 10 x cans of beer or lager or cider OR 10 premixed spirit cans (max 250ml) OR 1 bottle of wine decanted into a plastic bottle per adult.

Strictly no spirits or hard liquor are permitted.

No glass is permitted on site.

Searches will be undertaken upon entry.

Any alcohol above this allocation will be confiscated.

This alcohol may only be consumed within the campsite.

Sealed bottles of water and soft drinks are allowed, but will be checked on entry to the campsite.

For safety reasons, Preston Live does not permit campfires or open gas fires in the campsite. Any festival goer found starting a fire will be asked to leave the festival immediately.

Campers wishing to bring stoves should only bring purpose-built gas stoves with small gas bottles (2.2kg) to Preston Live. No spare bottles are to be brought. These stoves can only be used for cooking in a designated area of the Campsite, and should not be used inside individual tents. No other LPG should be on site.

VIP tickets includes fast track entry, access to Preston Live's exclusive VIP area with the best views of the festival with its own bar, toilets and seating area.

A family ticket includes children up to the age of 16. 

PLEASE NOTE: Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Preston Live run a complimentary personal assistant ticketing scheme for customers who wouldn’t be able to attend the festival without the aid of another person. (You need to be in receipt of PIP/DLA or equivalent to qualify and have proof of this on the day.)
