Where is Reading Festival?
Reading Festival takes place at Richfield Avenue Festival site, Reading RG1 8EQ.
Does Reading Festival have any age restrictions?
All ages are welcome at the festival. However, there are entry restrictions for under 16s and we do advise not bringing young children. Anyone 15 and under must be accompanied by a ticket holder over 18 years old at all times. Children under 13 years are admitted free. ID may be required upon entry to the event.
Please bring ID if you look under 21 years old and remember that legally there is no automatic right to be served alcohol. Service is always at the discretion of the licensee for whatever reason they decide, and the licensee is under no obligation to explain the reason.
Can I bring my own food and drink into Reading Festival?
The festival only allows sealed soft drinks under 500ml, as well as empty reusable plastic and metal bottles of any size into the Arena. Please refill your empty bottles at the water points inside the Arena for free.
Food is admitted for personal consumption only.
How do I get to Reading Festival?
By car - Please follow the AA signage and directions on your car pass and not your Sat Nav. The car parks are located on grass fields, some with metal trackway approach roads and some internal roads are on land that may not be suitable for certain car suspensions.
By train -Reading train station is a 15-20 minute walk from the festival site. There are many routes from throughout the country to the station, including from London Paddington.
The last trains leaving Reading train station are often incredibly busy and do not run late on Friday and Saturday night. Please leave extra time if you're planning on using these services.

What happens If I bought a ticket and cannot attend?
Unfortunately we can’t issue you with a refund if you can’t make the event due to work commitments or your mates have dropped out. In these circumstances, we advise passing on your tickets privately to avoid losing out on the money spent.
Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed, as agreed upon purchase.
Does Reading have onsite camping?
Yes, Reading Festival has on-site camping and you will be assigned your camping area when purchasing your tickets.
