Most festival goers out there can still remember when paying £60 to spend 3 days in a tent in a field was considered on the pricey side of life. Nowadays, it’s not uncommon for festival tickets to cost well over £150. As with anything, you pay for what you get, however there are plenty of budget festivals for under £100 in the UK.
Some of the festivals as established and are often smaller than the major festivals, as such they don't come with the same level of convenience and entertainment you may have come to expect from large festivals. Budget festivals represent an opportunity to see a wide range of artists, including acts you wouldn't normally see.
