What is Sónar Istanbul?

It’s an intimate and compact version of Sónar Barcelona, an international festival which gathers thousands of people from various countries.
Sónar İstanbul will combine the general meaning of the festival with its multicultural, colorful, dynamic and living identity like it has never been experienced before.

For the first time, Sónar İstanbul will meet its audience in Turkey, at Istanbul’s the most prestigious performing arts complex, Zorlu Performing Arts Center, with 5000 people capacity. The festival with its concerts on 4 stages, conferences, contemporary art exhibitions all over the venue, artistic and technological performances with local and foreign artists will give its audience an opportunity to have a unique festival experience.
