The main Summer Love entrance will be situated opposite Mote Park Café, with Mote Park’s main entrance off Mote Avenue being the best way to

access the site.

The event will consist of arena standard staging, lighting and sound, as well as numerous fully-licensed bars and street food vendors.

No you unfortunately cannot leave and re-enter Summer Love.

- No food and drink (except 1×500 bottle of water per person – MUST BE SEALED) is permitted to be brought into the event. There will be a variety of delicious food available for purchase inside the event, as well as fully stocked bars.

- The only animals that are permitted on site are registered guide dogs.

- You’re welcome to bring your own seating (folding, camping chairs) and blankets to sit on, however please be aware that these cannot be placed directly in front of the stage because it creates a hazard. You must be behind the barriers, which will be clearly signposted, otherwise you will be asked to move by security.

- You can bring a camera but it must not be used for commercial use unless given permission by the event organiser prior to the event.

- Cosmetics can be brought into the event, however please note that all glass vessels will be confiscated and will not be returned. Please leave all glass cosmetics at home.

Why have Summer Love gone cashless?

In the previous token system, there were no refunds for extra tokens and queuing was necessary to acquire them.

The new innovative cashless system offers you the convenience of topping up your funds both prior to and during the event, on the go!

Summer Love cashless system, you can effortless receive a refund for any unused funds that you have previously topped up (if you created an account prior to your arrival).

 

Step 1: Register Your Secure Cashless Account

Set up a cashless account and link it to your festival ticket here: parklivekent.com/summer-love-cashless

Step 2: Top Up Your Account Pre-Event

Put your spending money into your cashless account.

Step 3: Get Your Cashless Card

At the entrance, your card will be paired with your cashless account, your preloaded money will be transferred onto your card.

Step 4: Spend!

You tap your card  to pay for drinks, food, and other goodies.

Step 5: Check and Top Up Your Account

You can do this at the top up station or using your phone. You can check your balance and history at any time.

Step 6: Refund

Request your unspent money, you won't be charged for this. (50p minimum withdrawal) You have seven days after the event to claim.

 

What happens if I lose my Summer Love cashless card?

You have the option to block your card by visiting the Top Up Station at Summer Love.

Once there, you can obtain a replacement card that carries the same balance as the card you have blocked.

Since your account is connected to the card, this process will allow you to continue using the funds and enjoying the event without any disruption.

You must have registered an account prior to arriving on site  if you want to transfer your unspent balance from a lost card to a new card.

 

How do I get a refund on any money I didn't use at Summer Love?

From within your cashless account, you will be able to select reimbursement and your bank account will be credited back any outstanding money (minimum amount £0.50).  

You will have up to seven days after the event to complete this. 

YOU CAN ONLY CLAIM A REFUND IF YOU HAVE CREATED AN ACCOUNT PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL ON SITE. 

 

Do I need to register an account prior to the show? 

No you don’t but we recommend it. You can just receive a cashless card on entry to the event and top-up manually at the Top Up Station using cash or debit card. However, registering an account is the only way you will be able to transfer funds from a lost card and claim a refund on any unspent amounts.

Each customer will be searched and so too will their bags. There will be a zero tolerance approach implemented by the experienced and professional security team.

There will also be a medical area on site, where trained first-aides and paramedics will be available at any time.

The weather shouldn’t affect the festival too much because of the time of year, however the ground may become wet and soft, so if the weather up to and including the day of the festival is wet, we would advise wearing your wellies and waterproof jackets! 

  

Camping is unfortunately not available for this event.

All VIP ticket holders will have exclusive access to the following: 

Fast track entry, access to private side-of-stage VIP bar, side-of-stage viewing area access, luxury toilets, relaxed seating area and free souvenir

reusable cup.

Unfortunately, due to policy, tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us prior to opening. You are, however, welcome to sell/give your tickets to a friend or family member. 

If the event is cancelled due to force majeure, including COVID-19 and government guidance, tickets will not be refunded but alternative dates will be offered.

The name on the ticket is virtually irrelevant, as long as the ticket’s bar code scans successfully. Please, however, be aware of ticket scammers and we do not recommend purchasing tickets from anyone other than our official website.

We do not take any responsibility for tickets that do not scan successfully upon entry. 

If you haven't received your tickets via email within two hours of completing your transaction, please check the following:

- Inbox, junk and spam folders for an email from Skiddle.

- That your business email IT system is blocking the email.

- Your email inbox is full.

- You accidentally deleted it or it's buried under lots of emails.

If you have checked the above and still cannot locate your tickets, please contact us by visiting https://www.skiddle.com/contact. and we will resend your tickets to you.

If you cannot find your tickets on the day, we would advise going to the event as soon as it opens and the stewards will check the ticketing system manually for you at the entrance, however the whole party that you purchased tickets for will have to be present.

Yes, everyone regardless of age requires a ticket.

Yes, disabled customers are required to purchase a ticket and then send the confirmation, as well as a photo/copy of their DLA/PIP letter to the festival

directly via their chat feature at www.parklivekent.com. They will then process the documents and provide them with a carer ticket free of charge. 

Yes, there will be a variety of toilets from disabled to standard portaloos. These will be monitored throughout the event to ensure they are as clean as possible.

The event is fully wheelchair accessible.

Unfortunately there will not be a specific disabled viewing area, however please show your blue badge upon arrival and our marshals will do their best to locate you as close to the stage as possible. 

 

There will be parking available for disabled customers in Mote Park’s over-flow car park.

TRAVELLING BY CAR

If you’re driving to the event, we would suggest parking in the official Summer Love car park, which is situated 200m from the event’s main entrance. This is also the official pick-up and drop-off location.

Parking tickets are available to purchase via the Summer Love website.

You can also park in one of the many local car parks.

Please note, we strongly advise that you do not park in and around residential areas surrounding the park and doing so will run the risk of you

receiving a parking ticket.

The Mall Bus Station is located approximately one mile from Mote Park.
