A festival celebrating English summer fun will see revellers rocking to the sounds of the Rolling Stones while enjoying local beers and having a flutter on live camel racing, all set in the stunning Hertfordshire countryside.
The ‘Todd in the Hole’ music festival will take place in Todd’s Green, Stevenage on the weekend of July 17, championing traditional English fun while giving partygoers the chance to let their hair down in style.
Featuring live music from the band Mick Jagger describes as the very best Stones tribute, traditional ‘village green’ games such as tug of war, classic cars and real ales, the event will offer something for everyone.
Jazz and folk sessions will be a highlight of the weekend, while local rugby clubs go head-to-head in a tug of war challenge to raise money for mental health charity JOCA.
Tasty treats will be available as part of the ‘Feast in the Field’ – featuring local brands, The Great British Sausage company and The Crispy Duck Rotisserie, alongside street food from South Africa, India and Greece. A huge pop-up pub and prosecco bar will be open throughout the event, with roaring fire pits keeping revellers warm at night.
