Trance In The Woods

Most of the Trance In The Woods site is on flat-grass and woodland space, with access to disabled toilets and seating. Should you require help on the day, please speak to security or a member of staff.

Yes you must be 18+ to attend Trance In The Woods. Challenge 25 will be in operation upon entry and at all bars. Make sure to bring ID.

Opening times at Trance In The Woods:

Camping: Check-In from 12pm on Friday, Last Check-In 9pm.

Friday’s Entertainment from 4:00pm – 11:00pm

Saturday: 12:00pm – 10:30pm, Last Entry is 6pm

No, there are no pass outs at Trance In The Woods.

No, you can't bring your own food into Trance In The Woods but there will be fully stocked bars and food stalls.

Yes, you can bring a bag to Trance In The Woods. It must be no bigger than an A4 piece of paper and it will be searched on entry.

Glass bottles and aerosols are banned from Trance In The Woods, but sunscreen in plastic containers and roll on deodorant is fine. 

Yes, please go to the GoHangors van on the day to charge your phone at Trance In The Woods. You can also find lockers for your valuables here.

Yes, you will find a Goodgreef Merch Stall in the Main Area at Trance In The Woods for Hoodies, T-Shirts, Hats etc.

Unfortunately we can’t issue you with a refund if you can’t make the event due to work commitments or your mates have dropped out. In these circumstances, we advise passing on your tickets privately to avoid losing out on the money spent. Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed, as agreed upon purchase.

Elvaston Castle Country Park, Borrowash Road, Elvaston Derby, DE72 3EN. Some Sat-Nav’s may take you to the wrong side of the park. Trance In The Woods is signed-posted, please follow the signs.

Parking is sign-posted for both Site Parking (Booked via Skiddle) or Country Park Parking (Pay On The Day). For those walking, please follow the Main Entrance signs. For those Camping, please access via Bedford Drive and park just off the main drive.

If coming via a Taxi, they will need to head to the Taxi Drop-off, which is via Bedford Drive (Burton Drive Entrance).

You will exit Trance In The Woods the same way you came, taxi drop-off / pick up, parking etc. If camping, please head back to the campsite.

There are no bus services that stop directly outside the main entrance to the park at Trance In The Woods. However, bus 73 (Arriva) and the Skylink Derby (TrentBarton) both stop by Elvaston Castle Gates in Thulston.

Yes, camping and glamping options are available. Everyone will need a Weekend Ticket for the Main Event (or two single tickets for Friday & Saturday).

Trance In The Woods campsite opening times are as follows:

Glamping:

Check-In starts at 12pm* on Friday (Closes at 9pm and re-opens 10am following day), Check-Out is 1pm Sunday*.

Camping:

Check-In starts at 12pm* on Friday (Closes at 9pm and re-opens 10am following day), Check-Out is 1pm Sunday*.

Live-In-Vehicles (Caravans / Motorhomes):

Check-In starts at 12pm* on Friday (Closes at 9pm and re-opens 10am following day), Check-Out is 1pm Sunday*.

Campers (Tent or Glamping) will be allocated ONE FREE PARKING SPACE, this excludes those coming in a Motorhome. Please note: You will not be able to park next to your Tent, Glampers have their own parking. Re-Caravans, Trance In The Woods will do their best to allow you to park next to your Caravan, should this not be possible, you will have to park in the Main Camping Car Park. Camping Car Park is only 60 seconds away.

On the day, please head to the Camping Box Office with your Skiddle Tickets (either printed out or downloaded to your phone). You just need this and Photo ID to check-in on the day. Please note, only the Lead Booker can check-in and everyone in your group must arrive at the same time at Trance In The Woods.

Yes, remember, No Glass and you won't be able to bring your own food or drink into the main Trance In The Woods festival, campsite only. No BBQs.

Trance In The Woods facilities are as follows:

Showers & Toilets

Showers and toilets are located in the Campsite for Campers / Motorhomes / Caravans. There are also showers and toilets located within the Glamping Area, for Glampers Only.

Water:

Located at the Campsite.

Power Hookups:

Power Hookups are provided free of charge to those with a Caravan / Motorhome and Power (Plug Socket) included for those Glamping.

Glampers receive more facilities - see FAQs for further information.

Trance In The Woods Camper / Caravan / Motorhome passes are non-refundable and include:

• Free On Site Parking for One Car (if Caravan)
• Two Nights Camper / Caravan Pitch
• Showers
• Toilets
