Review of The Brian Jonestown Massacre

The music and sound quality was really good but they spent a long time between songs, the gaps meant that there was no flow to the gig. There was very little audience interaction from the stage. Bit disappointed at the length as well and no encore - heard they've played for longer and with more enthusiasm elsewhere on other dates in the tour

This was my 14th BJM gig over the last 20 years. It'll go down as the least memorable.
The crowd was lost after 30mins. 
No iconic BJM songs were played - there the ones we want to hear.. That's why you lost the crowd. There the songs that have got you where you are today, not the ones which were played that barely anyone's familiar with. 



I knew they were going to be good, but that was an awesome gig!

Only played 2 old tunes. Seen them many times before and played loads of old stuff.  No encore due to being a moaning fart (typical Anton- not really a complaint). Managed to get the track list and missed a few songs at the end due to wasting time in between songs/tuning (what was he tuning a harp?)

Band were fab, venue lights on the crowd (blue ones) were a bit distracting and the sound doesn't carry very well in that room so towards the back you could hear peoples full conversations over the music. Still had a ball though. 

A great band and good set at an interesting industrial  venue, I liked it very much felt lucky to be there at that time, crowd  was good too,  a good mix of people enjoying s brilliant night, thank you BJM .
