A unique experience! Such a beautiful venue (says a non Christian!) and a great format. A variety of comedic style, so should be something for everyone!

Review of Cathedral of Comedy - May 2023

Great night excellent line up face hurt from all the laughing

Great venue. Really enjoyed our night. A bit more of a choice at the bar would be good. At times the sound quality was poor. Staff very friendly. Good atmosphere.

Great night out, definitely would come again in a heartbeat. What a beautiful venue also!

A fantastic night of Comedy, really enjoyed Connor Burns and Lou Sanders!

Very reasonable bar prices and lovely staff, I'll be booking for the next one for sure! 

Acoustics were awful so couldn't hear the comedians.
... Although, except for Connor Burns, maybe that was a blessing... 

We had a fantastic night at the cathedral of comedy. Drinks were really reasonably priced and lovely to see local business supplying the food. I did feel that sheer size of the setting to audience ratio seemed to make it slightly harder for the comedians to connect with the crowd leading to a few awkward silent moments however all in all a fab night. 

Cathedral acoustics with added mic echo meant that we heard very, very little all night.
People we spoke to at the venue told us the comedians were very funny but I cannot confirm this.
A few people shouted "we can't hear you" early in the show, I hoped this would see the sound setup altered to be easier to hear, alas this was not the case.
At £50 the cost was not a small one either, very disappointed.

I am told from people at the front that the comedians were very funny. I have to trust that this was true as I heard very, very little from  any of them due to the acoustics of the cathedral combin3d with the mic echo.

A couple of people shouted early in the performance "we can't hear you", I hoped this would result in someone changing the sound setup alas it was not to be.

I am incredibly disappointed with my experience, it was not a cheap one either with 2 tickets costing me £50.

volume was set to high and a lot of echo on some of the acts
