Review of Chigwell Ice Skating

It was my first experience on ice skating in London. The place was nice and it was not busy. Only the minus was that the ice was all scratched as we had a late afternoon session. I advice to come for early sessions to fully enjoy your time. Also the price is too high,. I have booked online and payed £13.45 adult ticket however at venue you could purchase for £12 and kids ticket 15 year and under I payed £9, however at venue I could buy for £8. Also the price range is a bit unfare as I had my 3 years old daughter and had to pay £9 and also disappointed that I had to pay extra £2 for a penguin for my little daughter as all other penguins were taken by other children. 

I had booked a week in advance for Saturday 5th at 10pm for 2 people Ice Skating.
When we arrived at the venue it was shut and no one was there. I went to the golf club to ask someone there if they knew why the ice skating venue was closed and they didn't know. 

I hadn't received any email to say that this was happening. I am still waiting for a full refund and travelling expenses.

I'm very angry the way this was sold and to be let down.

Great experience! Would like to come back again

I took my 13 year old son and 11 year old daughter ti this venue we had ticket booked for 11AM got there 15min early and we had the whole rink to ourselves for 15 min, the staff were friendly with a great atmosphere good music & big screen MTV playing the kids and I had a great time. 

Good fun skate with my little girl, ice was not to busy so good for learners

It has been such a pleasure to discover that place. We all have enjoyed skating at Chigwell.  People there were lovely, they have warmly welcomed us and have made us  go there again and again :)

Nice place. Not too over crowded. Kids had fun. Staff we're friendly enough. 

Get your skates on to slip and glide on Chigwells magical outdoor ice rink set in beautiful surroundings. No plastic here this is 400 square metres of real ice!!
