Review of Christkindelmarkt : German Christmas Market : C&F : Sat 21st Dec

Arrived half hour after it started, hardly anyone there and only three Christmas market stalls. We left to go to the liverpool Christmas markets which we really enjoyed and would have happily spent £6 to get into. We went back to the Christkindelmarkt at 9 and still nothing had really changed. The event page hyped it way up however it was a massive let down. Very weary of buying tickets at C&F in the future now 

A total misrepresentation of an event. Would not recommend to anyone.  We expected a Christmas market which was non existent.  We were told there were food stalls there was one and not even authentic German food.   German band wore a costume unfortunately just because they were dressed in German costume does not make them a German band.Totally disappointed. How do we go about  getting a refund.

Door staff friendly and welcoming but bar staff didn't have faintest idea. Asked for German beer and they  weren't sure if they had any. There was no selection of German Beers only one on tap which wasn't very good. There was only 2 small "chalets" serving food and on the Friday afternoon session there was only 30 people most of whom left after an hour. The music was good and they tried hard but with so little an audience there was no atmosphere.

Thought The Bavarian Stompers were Fantastic! 
an amazing show! only to be let down by the venue! 
we would love to see the Stompers again! but the venue wasn't as advertised! don't think 2 stalls make a german market & the quality of food was expensive & very poor quality! also the waitress service dressed in Bavarian outfits wasn't there! ...were were very disappointed to say the least! The Stompers put on a fab show! & a big thankyou to them! 

completely false advertising, there was only 3 stalls with only one german food option, no dessert stands or wooden toy stands and the band wasnÃ¢Â€Â™t even german!

Absolutely rubbish .. No stalls to buy from or different types of food  No atmosphere absolute wash out !!!

started out with the oompah stuff which was good, but then just went into a song song and a standard Christmas song disco. very disappointed

it was Brilliant
