Cloudspotting Festival

Rooted deep in Lancashire's largest forest, the 9th annual Cloudspotting Festival takes place on Midsummer weekend (June 21-23rd, 2019). This award-winning 'micro' festival (Winner of Best Small Event in the 2017 Lancashire Tourism Awards) is renowned for its family friendliness. It also prides itself on a high quality music programme that champions original independent artists, and quirky, interactive arts activities.

Cloudspotting is a welcoming festival and community - a magical back-to-nature experience for a few hundred people, making it the ideal event for first-time young festival-going families, or indeed more seasoned revellers who are jaded with the corporate trappings of the larger UK festival scene. The alchemy of audience, artists and the glorious environment of Gisburn Forest creates a special atmosphere that is hard to achieve at larger festivals.
