Very impressed with the price of the tickets, the bar above the venue is lovely too with a nice atmosphere. It is a good place to go before hand to have a few c**ktails (happy hour!). The actual venue is quite small and intimate and walking in i was a bit wary but actually once the comedy had started i thoroughly enjoyed myself. All comics were hilarious and was a good night all round. Definitely worth doing if you looking to do something different in Shoreditch. 

Review of City Comedy Club

We travelled across London for this event to find the venue was closed! Absolutely furious! Luckily the tickets were free, but our travel wasn't, and we were too late to go to any other events so a completely wasted evening! Please check your venue opening days before offering anymore tickets to people!!! 

Review of FREE* Shakespeare Comedy Club

All comics were funny,  but the event was rather rushed and was over  in an hour. I needed a wee and a refill after half an hour but that wasn't possible. 


Great gig with a variety of performers. Would recommend :) 

Review of Shakespeare Comedy Club

I came here with my husband for some fun and downtime from work. The staff from the door, bar, restroom and comedy night organisers were all lovely. The comedy night downstairs was great and afterwards we came upstairs for music and more drinks.. C**ktails were well priced and lovely. Overall we had a great night and will be coming back with friends.

What great acts they had on here, smallish venue too so more personal and involved. Had us laughing from start to finish and stupidly cheap tickets for the talent that was there. As a big lover of stand-up this was the most fun I've had I  a long time!
