Hailing originaly from West London and of a time when music was a physical thing and came in a paper sleeve.
With the best place to get a listen in to the lastest and best pressings was via your aerial.  Pirate broadcast was the thing and Kiss was in its infancsy.

Fast forward to today, home is now the south coast, music is very much digital and technology is king (or queen!!!),

JC heads up his CSide brand which plays in and around Brighton and Hove on the south coast.  trickielemons is the current night and has played out
at various venues across Brighton.  Coalition, Volks and Shortts have all had the trickielemons treatment with its multi DJ free format approach and
staying faithful to the funky soulful house ethos, and lets not forget the live percussion.
With spells at local 'pirate' station CodeSouth and also playing to listeners in southern Spain with Sol-Beat radio, his broad love of the musical genres
 allows for varied shows and sets to be curated.

JC's love of music comes from, as for most music lovers, the music of their youth. Going from Ska, to soul funk and disco with an appreciation for the
electronic pop of early decades.  The true love falls at the feet of house music across its various forms aswell as the higher bpms of drum & bass and
jungle.
