Waves events take place in the parkland of Manvers Lake, The Boathouse, Station Road, Wath-upon-Dearne, Rotherham, South Yorkshire S63 7DG

Parking is generally* free at our events within our dedicated events car park which is located over the footbridge on Manvers Way.

Charges are still applicable in our main car park at the Boathouse.

* Please check for each event.

No. Please ensure you have a designated driver and your vehicle is removed from our events field car park once the event is over. The gates will be locked overnight.

Please note: people using the parking facilities do so purely at their own risk. Neither the organisers of Waves nor Manvers Lake & Dearne Valley Trust will be responsible for any loss or damage caused to your vehicle.

A small number may be available on the day but this is not guaranteed.

At the bar: I.D. will be required. We operate a strict Challenge-25 policy.

When applying for a Personal Assistant ticket, evidence will need to be provided on entry. This includes:

·  Front page of DLA / PIP (no specific rate)

·  Front page of Attendance Allowance letter (no specific rate)

·  Evidence that registered severely sight impaired (blind)

·  Recognised Assistance Dog ID card

·  Credibility's Access Card

Yes. Upon arrival you will receive a wristband. Please keep hold of your original email ticket at all times. Should you wish to leave the event site please present both wristband and ticket on re-entry.

Generally yes, there will be a selection of food and drink caterers on-site. but please check for each specific event.

No. The nearest cash machines will be in Wath itself (Asda & Tesco’s).

Card payments will be accepted for bar tokens and on certain concession stalls (some may be cash), but as card payment machines rely heavily on mobile phone signal we would always advise that you bring enough cash with you to enjoy the day.

Disabled toilets will be available within the site and blue badge holders can park at the Boathouse

No, there is no camping available.

Waves events are usually open air events, so do please come prepared for whatever the good old British weather may throw at us - from raincoats to sun cream and blankets to sun hats!

Fold-up chairs are usually (event specific) permitted however we do request that they be used in a specific area to the back of the site so as to allow those who wish to sit on the grass full visibility of the stage. Please do not be offended if our stewards ask you to move or pack away your chair should they feel it is in an unsuitable location.

Children’s tents, tables, gazebos, windbreaks or any other tented structures WILL NOT be permitted.

Pull-along trolleys are not allowed. 

Like most UK Day Festivals, no alcohol is allowed into events when there is a licensed bar provided on-site.

This is entirely event specific so please check when booking.

Picnics will not be allowed at some events where we have on-site caterers.

We will sometimes allow picnics for family events (but no pull-along trolleys). Please check before booking.

Only guide dogs are permitted.
