Nip started out life as The Inverness Whisky Festival.
Organised by renowned musician and broadcaster Bruce MacGregor and seasoned events manager Yvonne Murray, the festival was born out of a love of whisky, and a burning desire to showcase the abundance of producers based in the Highlands of Scotland.
From those small beginnings, The Festival grew to become a major event on the whisky-lovers' calendar, with devoted connoisseurs travelling from across the world to experience the wee festival in the historic City.
But Bruce and Yvonne didn?t stop there. This year, in recognition of the exponential growth of artisan gin makers, the Inverness Whisky Festival has changed. Nip is a gathering of whisky and gin, and we?re so excited to welcome you to the Highlands to join our celebration.
