Review of Panic At The Emo Club Night

Decent
Stage was in a weird place though

Was there from 11-12:30 and the atmosphere was dead, out of the songs probably only knew 3. Not many people dancing, lots stood on phones/sat down/talking. Not sure how you can look at a dead crowd and not throw in a banger to liven it up, first time we’ve ever left a club event due to boredom. 
Also no freebies on the door and the music was way too loud, my entire group had to get earplugs from the venue.
Such a shame as last time was an amazing event, not sure if the dj was different or if the event has changed but it shouldn’t have to get 2 hours into the event for it to be a good time. 

Played obscure emo music for the first hour and was too loud throughout.

Music was a bit s**tty to start with no one knew the songs and everyone was just stood chatting but towards the end was better 

Great night was had, top music selections 

The venue was good as its own thing but the vibe of the night was a little odd. There were massive bright lights on over the dancefloor all night meaning the whole place felt more like a themed party than a club. It has enough stage lighting that these really made the atmosphere a bit odd. Also they had this very strange man in a pink hat on stage sporadically who knew none of the words and just paced up and down looking a bit bored/drugged up. Every time he came on stage the vibe took a serious dip. The other DJ had loads of energy and made you want to get up and dance.

Overall the music was good but the atmosphere would have felt a little less disjointed if it was darker so you could just get into your little world and enjoy it instead of noticing the turnout and the room empty and fill every so often. Plus whoever that dude was he needs to stop lol even the bouncers were laughing at how ridiculous he was just opening his mouth every now and then like he was pretending to know the words ??

Great night, we really enjoyed ourselves. The queue wasn't bad at all, they learnt from last time. Brilliant free gifts and awesome atmosphere. 

Dust off those converse and fish out that MCR T Shirt because Panic! At The Emo is here for the Rawring '20s! Expect to hear bangers from My Chemical Romance, Panic At The Disco, Paramore, Hawthorne Heights, Enter Shikari, Fall Out Boy, Alexisonfire, Underoath, All American Rejects, From First to Last and many more classic emo tunes!
