Shine
is an underground house clubbing brand, when presented nowadays and since it's 2023 return to the Leeds scene, they deliver flavours of upfront house alongside cool classics, from soulful house into deep house with quality vocal tracks to be heard on the Shine dancefloor.

Shine originally, was Established in 2011, pulling off it's launch at Bar Seven near Leeds university, the venue was unable to accommodate the 800 party heads who turned up rearing to go for an already rocking party inside yet throughout it's 10 hour duration, 650 people were let in, on a one in one out basis.

It then, was soon realised, Shine needed to evolve it's original 'Indie Rave' concept onto the Leeds Warehouse dancefloor where they stayed based throughout it's remaining five year reign until 2016

During those exciting five years, Shine invited worldwide DJ's, mainly in from the UK, Europe and the States. Also Shine began hosting FAC 51 The Hacienda at the globally sought after Leeds Warehouse playing a key part in Shine's revelling party head's staple diet, of nothing but cool top quality house music, feeding their ever growing hunger, reacquainting a one off taste fully back into their re found club scene environment, typically committing Shine's Faithful full blown club bug religiously into a Shine cause with nothing but dedication towards it's success.

Their Easter Bank Holiday's however and Shine Birthday's enabled the brand to play about with line ups fulfilling their desire to confidently present presentations constantly growing Shine's niche from strength to strength, bringing a trusted vibe over to the audience which in turn put the Shine Faithful's faith in the brands hands. For example the occasional Live PA were invited to perform on stage while birthdays catered out a deeper underground classic house vibe from DJ's. All going down perfectly into a small piece of history from each show billed, continuously growing Shine's reputation

Shine re-established itself back into Leeds on a new footing last September 2023, at the Leeds Warehouse with additional HiFi Club shows already announced for 2024 and there's many dates booked well into 2025 too.

At the Leeds Warehouse last year Shine proudly hosted names such as Danny Rampling, Nicky Holloway, Victor Simonelli, CJ Mackintosh, Pete Heller and Groove Assassin for it's 12th Birthday.

Shortly after a one off collaboration with Tolerance ensued in Bradford at Tapestry featuring Retro founder Paul Taylor alongside Al Mackenzie from D:Ream. Whilst booked to host the Shine's decks was Faith founder, one half of Heller & Farley, Terry Farley known for Junior Boy's Own which was recently bought out by Defected Records, he was to be joined by Hacienda resident, Shine regular Tom Wainwright.

Forthcoming on August Bank Holiday, Saturday 24th in collaboration with UpYerRonson for their Mint Warehouse Afterparty see's a staunch billing on Shine's stage at the HiFi Club in Leeds, 11pm, featuring Kings Of Tomorrow's Sandy Rivera, Inland Knights alongside Buckley plus Shine residents Mark Alexander and Graham Dixon. (UpYerRonson had since been cancelled, due to ill health of their organising promoter).

That will soon be followed by a Welcome Back celebration Saturday 2nd November 2024 with X-Press2, Justin Robertson returning exactly 10 Years On alongside guest Tom Wainwright plus residents Miss Melodie's debut show and the long standing Graham Dixon at Leeds, HiFi Club

Shine are already booked in for more shows at the Leeds Warehouse in 2025 to kickstart some top quality dates off, so expect top quality bills during the summer and especially at what's their biggest line up to date since established 2011 on an unmissable Shine's 14th Birthday.
