St John's Hospice, Lancaster

St. John's Hospice is a Local charity based in Lancaster. We provide specialist palliative care 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year to patients with life limiting illnesses at no charge. We cover North Lancashire, South Lakes and North Yorkshire. It costs around £9,041 a day to keep the doors of the hospice open. We have to fund £6.027 of this amount ourselves. Thats almost £42,191 a week we must raise ourselves to stay open. As well as the support of our 338 volunteers we are reliant on the support of our local community and business organisations who play a vital role in helping us generate the funds needed to provide our services to our patients and their family and friends.
