Review of Womanifest 2024

Absolutely loved the weekend, perfect venue.   Jodie and the team worked so hard to bring it all together.   So many workshops to choose from, all that I attended were amazing.   My only recommendation for improvement would be the food options, would have been nice to have a healthier option (salads or stir frys maybe?).   Thank you to everyone for a lovely relaxing weekend.

Such an awesome weekend with amazing, encouraging, empowering women.  If you have teenage girls you really need to take them along too.  It was wonderful to see the bonding going on with the teenagers and their adults but also with each other.  
The venue was very scenic however unless you were parked and camping on site it was a long walk from the overflow.  So more camping and parking required next time.
Food and drink was reasonable and a great choice but maybe some healthier options require just so there's something for everyone.
Some of the activities that you had to pay extra for were a bit pricey too.
However lots of included in the ticket activities were brilliant and well worth doing with lots of professionals passing on their knowledge in a fun and engaging way.
I'm not a planner so being able to turn up and go with the flow was really good.  The silent disco was brilliant.   Overall a fantastic weekend I feel uplifted and empowered.

What a cracking weekend.  Loads of variety and like minded women, and girls, in the same place.So much to do and the silent disco was my particular highlight-top class.  People on hand to support at each tent and well informed.

This was my first time at Womanifest and I was super excited about attending. However, from the very first interaction it was a poor experience:

I had to email several times to find out what was included with my ticket price - the first reply I got simply said "lots."

I was given a £10 voucher to use which was invalid and therefore pointless.

The event/car park was poorly signposted from the main road

The toilets kept having power cuts therefore leaving you in the pitch black inside a cubicle and without running water or soap

Several of the sessions were cancelled at short notice or without notice at all and without communication/announcements/alternatives

The tents were poorly set up inside and were very bland/basic

The food offering was limited and not at all in keeping with the "wellbeing" theme - dirty fries & pizzas/burgers aren't the healthiest of choices

The podcast linked to the festival was extremely poor quality, the same interview technique was used for every episode almost word for word which made listening very dull & predictable by the 5th episode - the host also repeatedly talk over/interrupted each guest

The entire festival was horrendously overpriced  - my immediate reaction when entering the event on the first day was "is this it?!"

To say the event is in its 3rd/4th year, the entire festival was massively disorganised, chaotic, unprofessional and looked/felt thrown together over night

Overall, a massive let down disappointment and feel completely short changed in all respects.

Incredible from start to finish, the mission behind this event is everything.
