Bonfire Night is always one of our favourite celebrations in the calendar. We gather as communities to enjoy the toasty bonfire and watch as the sky explodes into a rainbow of colours while snacking on hot dogs. It’s just lovely, wholesome fun all around.

As always, there are some stunning Croydon Bonfire events this year. And to help make it easier for you to have a lovely, memorable night out with the family, we’ve compiled a list of the best here for you to choose from.

When: Saturday 5th November 2022, 17:00 - 22:00

Where: Croydon Road Recreation Ground, BR3 3FD

Head over to Croydon Road Recreation Ground for a family-friendly fireworks display. There’s a quieter display at 18:00, suitable for littluns with sensitive ears, and the main display at 19:45, both with music. Skip dinner and enjoy flavours from one of the many food stalls. There'll be jerk chicken, pizza, hot dogs, vegan burgers, souvlaki wraps, wings, ribs, chicken naan wraps, sweet treats, and more. And have a spin on a few fairground rides! But maybe do that before you eat…

Warlingham Light Show - Laser & Fireworks, Music Spectacular

When: Friday 4th November 2022

John Fisher Sports Club will be throwing a massive Bonfire Night Celebration on Friday the 4th. Live music and a compere will warm you up before launching into a laser show followed by the staple fireworks show. There’ll also be funfair rides, inflatables, glow sticks, and food stalls providing our favourite sweet treats like candy floss. Kids go for just £4 and adults for £9.22. Where: Carshalton Park, Ruskin Road, SM5 3ET

Fancy a more environmentally friendly Bonfire Night in Croydon? This year, the Carshalton Park show will now feature a light and laser spectacular to replace the traditional bonfire, as a huge fire can have a huge environmental impact.
