Bassfest joins forces with Birmingham's renowned clubnight 02:31 for an exclusive all-day event this upcoming bank holiday, bringing the heavy sounds of garage, bassline and grime from the underground scene to the masses. The event takes place at The Rainbow Venues in Digbeth, Birmingham on 29th April.
The event is split into day and night, with TQD headlining the earlier party in the big top circus tent. The collaborative project consists of friends and artists Royal T, DJ Q and Flava D, all highly regarded artists of their genre, with a shared passion for garage and bassline. Their recent debut album for Butterz label UKG, received a rapturous response from listeners and publications, and captures their love of a 2-step beat, energetic bass and cleverly edited vocal extracts, aiming to revisit the origins of the genre.
Joining them on the line up include Birmingham based grime producer Preditah plus crowd favourite Tom Zanetti, who last year shot into the spotlight after the release ‘You Want Me’, raching #22 in the charts, and DJ partner K.O. Kane.
The night time event will feature some of the same headline artists, including DJ Q, Flava D and Jamie Duggan, carrying on the momentum from the day right through into the early hours of the morning.
