Scotland’s biggest house and techno festival adored by artists and attendees alike is going down Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh this weekend. Some of the biggest names in house and techno will be there including Amelie Lens, Ewan McVicar, Charlotte de Witte, Alan Fitzpatrick, and so many more.
To get us all in the mood for the beautiful hedonistic chaos the weekend will bring, we had a look at just ten artists playing this year that we’re dying to check out. To be honest, It was difficult to narrow down but we (somehow) managed!

Well, we couldn’t leave out Skiddle’s Artist of the Year for 2022, could we? The young Scottish DJ was one of the most searched artists on Skiddle last year and with bloody good reason. He’s gone from strength to strength, releasing some of the best tracks of 2022, headlining some of the world’s best venues, and bringing crazy energy everywhere he goes. His set will be truly insane.

Where do we even begin? The energy in her sets is unrivalled. We guarantee there won’t be a single soul standing still when she takes to the decks. Nominated for DJ Mags Breakthrough DJ Award last year, we’re sure it won’t be long before we see her everywhere. And when that day comes, we’ll be ecstatic!

Another one that packs some serious punch, 999999999 are a hard techno duo that make crowds hit the roof with their energetic, intense selections. With raw, wild power, the Italian duo have become one of the most sought-after acts in techno right now.

An undeniable party starter, Chippy Nonstop was born to be behind the decks. A rapper, producer, DJ, and vocalist, Chippy is a true allrounder with a reputation for throwing inclusive parties with a chaotic and loud soundtrack. She released her latest album with dj genderfluid in 2021 and the single Enter My Fantasy with Panteros666 last year and we know these tracks will go down beautifully with the Terminal V crowd.

If any artist brings unmatched energy to Terminal V, it’ll be I Hate Models. This guy seems incapable of standing still during his sets, and we love it. You get what you give, right? Having performed at some of the biggest electronic music events in the world, he has more than enough experience to know exactly how to keep the audience in the palm of his hand. It’ll be magical to see him in action.

Madrid’s Hector Oaks is a real force to be reckoned with. As a vinyl-only DJ, whether you like his sets or not, you have to give respect where it's due. But chances are you’ll love his set. He plays contemporary bangers with tracks from rave culture’s rich history, choosing tracks that share a certain feel rather than genre.

Poland’s VTSS is one we’re certain will be everywhere very soon. This year, she's stopping by at Time Warp, Extrema Outdoor, DC-10 in Ibiza, Primavera, and lots more. She has consistently released music since 2018 and is part of the new wave of industrial techno artists who are instantly recognised by immense speed in their sets.

Hailing from Glasgow, we’re sure Frazi.er will receive a warm welcome at Terminal V. The Scottish powerhouse has seen a meteoric rise to fame with raw, energetic sounds. His influences range from Detroit sounds to 90s dance and we know the Terminal V crowd will welcome experimentation with open arms.

Clerkin has been making crowds lose it, releasing records, DJing and playing live since 2010. It’s always a great feeling to see a legend perform but we’re even more giddy than normal as he’ll be playing on The Palms Tent stage. The second outdoor and smallest, most intimate stage at the festival, it’s going to be epic.

Lena Willikens loves a bit of chaos in her sets. Her aim is to play a set that transports you somewhere else. She explores all sounds and doesn't play hits, instead focusing on creating a truly immersive, otherworldy experience. We don’t think we need to further explain why her set will be mind-blowing.
